I sit here and flip through the latest issue of Cosmopolitan magazine trying to figure out the latest trends and styles of the season, I notice the usual bulky belts, platform shoes and dangly earrings, so what else is new? I’m looking for something unique, something that can be dressed up and yet dressed down and then I come across this website and my eyes immediately light up as I scroll down the pictures of the most intense and deep colors I’ve come across in any one clothing item. These items would put even the most memorable fashion icon to shame if she did not possess one of these beautiful handmade silk scarves.
If we look back and remember the likes of Brigitte Bardot and Cher, we can see how their uniqueness in their style and attitude is what set them apart; even in the most recent production of Sex and the City 2, Carrie Bradshaw yet again set the fashion stakes high with her endless collection of Jimmy Choos and Manolo Blahniks, in fact one of her famous quotes were “I like my money right where I can see it..hanging in my closet”. Perhaps for us more ordinary folks, a vast shoe collection taking up our whole closet space is not what we particularly desire or can even afford but with the featured silk shawls, it can be one of those unique, achievable trends that any woman can follow.
