Pick Your Color Silk

A closet is full of a woman’s thoughts, passions, and inspiration and sometimes dreams (those jeans still sitting on the upper shelf that you pray someday you’ll get into). And when we look into it we think of all the possibilities and do’s and don’ts. But we make sure that what we have in our closet is something that can be worn frequently or something that we saw as an investment.           

One of the rarest and yet ravished item in our closet would be our silk scarves. Not just because they reek with beauty but because we know that we can style them in any way without them becoming a bore and they can be worn at almost any given time. But we do make sure to have the correct colors of scarves and sometimes the styles so that the handmaid shawl isn’t worn only once or twice with a certain outfit or shoe.

1. Black. Owning a black silk shawl or scarf is essential. Black is a color that is the most neutral and can be worn with almost anything. Having this color you can wear it with anything as simple as a jeans and a t-shirt on a cool night just to spice it up; you could even include heels. 2. Beige. This is another neutral color that can be worn with an arrangement of clothes. A silk beige scarf can compliment one’s complexion and allow your skin tone to stand out. It’s also good for late evenings when you don’t want too much color but enough to splash and radiate off of you.
3. White. A silk white scarf or shawl can be one of the most upsetting because it can get dirty fast and it can be used. It’s good to have a plain white shawl or scarf so that it can be paired off with any outfit just as a black handmade shawl or scarf would. It’s also easy to accessorize with just like your favorite white pair of sneakers. But it’s also good to have a white painted shawl with prints or handmade art work that the white could be seen as the ultimate canvas.
4. Painted Silk Shawl/Scarf: These are very fancy and the most popular. Having prints or certain artwork allows your silk shawl or scarf to stand out at its best. Being that some are handmade, the silk looks more appealing and alluring. It still would have the features and uses just as a solid color but would do all the fashion talking for you.
