Silk in the City 2

August 6, 2010

Sex and the City 2 has been anticipated for two years after its first feature film debut. It was a hit television show. The women were all in a big city some new some were natives. And it all centered around Carrie Bradshaw who was able to narrate her life experiences to the world as well as her written word. But what was most impressive about the show was its steady stream of clothing and shows and bags and eye ware and accessories that made viewer’s think about all the different fashion possibilities and the beauty tips that the women were using to stay looking so young. It was apparent that Sex and the City was relatable to women and men and the fashion trends and styles that were featured on the show were a spontaneous hit.

One of the constant things we kept hearing concerning the show was the different designers. They were constantly mentioned and that was probably the only set back. Not all of us could afford such pricey accessories or bags or shoes but we could find things similar and I’m not talking about off brands but sometimes even better items that we can look forward to feeling the same and apparel that would fit our personality even add a bit of limelight that the girl from the Big Apple could afford.

The previews of the new movie that has great reviews from its fans, shows all the women decked out in all the finest apparel from Vera Wang, Gucci, Louie Voutton, and other costly brands. We can see the flowing fabrics swaying in the wind as the track up the desert dunes. The women are smiling and yet still sinking in the costly heels. And as a viewer you can see that it’s not just because they’re wearing costly attire but it’s because of how they feel around each other and how the clothing makes them feel. Fabric such as silk creates as sensual feeling and allowing you to be comfortable and wear colors that suit you and your skin color.

Fabric is always an important factor. And the ladies smiling into the flashing luminous city lights show off their curves in their outfits and accessories. Silk scarves worn by the women only accentuate the outfit. This look can be achieved with this elegant fabric. And its versatility shows how an outfit can look different each time. Silk is soft to the touch and can be worn in any weather. Tied around the neck or head it adds flare to your outfit. The one thing about silk is that its not just for fancy occasions and as seen and worn by Carrie and her friends it can be used to spice up the outfit or even tone it down on a night out on the town with a hand painted shawl. Hand painted shawls are also sensual and can be used during the day windy or warm. If tied to your hand bag it can be eye catching and a fashion statement of your own. You don’t have to acquire the exact things these beautiful women wear but you can acquire your own look with sensual and seductive hand dyed silk that can be found at womenclothingtoday.com where you can also find ways to tie your silk shawl or silk scarf.
