Who could have thought the combination of modern art and silk scarves could be intoxicating? It is a worldwide fact that women share a fascination for silk because of its satiny smooth texture and feel. Silk has remained the undisputed queen of textile fabrics for over 4,000 years and is still considered the most attractive fabric in the world. So what happens when you project a painting on silk? The painting, including the art and pastel colors, transforms silk fabric into a canvas that brims with life. This is the story of hand painted silk scarves.
It will be wrong to say that silk scarves are in vogue, because they never really went out of style. The only thing that has changed is the use of modern art to create perfectly balanced images dipped in warm and cool tones of color. The result is sparklingly different! On one hand, you have the normal silk scarves with regular digital prints and on the other, you have hand painted silk scarves that radiate elegance. What is your choice?
When we think of modern art, we think of painters, such as Vincent van Gogh, Henri de Toulouse, Pablo Picasso, André Derain, Paul Gauguin, Maurice de Vlaminck, Paul Cézanne, Raoul Dufy, Georges Seurat, Fernand Léger, Marcel Duchamp, and Georges Braque. Their paintings and works of art highlighted emotional liberation and surrealism. Although their paintings have not been re-done in the hand painted silk scarves but their style, expression, and emotions have definitely been well rendered. Every time, I see a hand painted silk scarf, I am filled with emotions that range from a feeling of awe to a desire to own them.
This desire takes root from the fact that I have always been an art connoisseur and it is also my soul food. There are many of you for whom art is the soul food. The point is that we spend our lives admiring the great works of art and desiring to own one. Of course, the great paintings of modern art are not for sale and even if they are, most of you cannot afford them. But I can very much afford hand painted silk scarves that feed my desire to show the world that "I love art"! For me, that is the moment of triumph and the moment when I become one with art. Handmade silk scarves for women are no ordinary scarves; they are mirrors in which I hold my reflection steady!
Wishing you all the Best!
