What’s the best part of going to the movies? Getting ready to go to the theater of course! Ok, sure the movie may turn out great but there is one thing we can guarantee and make happen and that’s making ourselves look great. Just for that selfish few minutes you get to worry about yourself looking great and with some much happening in your day with crazy schedules, children, work, school, and maybe even drama a girl needs to have a little time to herself. So movie nights are one of the best ways to do it. We have the leisure time, hopefully if we’re not being rushed, to think about how we want to look or what we don’t want to look like. Having a date or not makes it difficult enough and even when you’re just hanging out with your friends you want to look your best so here are some helpful tips and getting yourself ready. Be taken away in a moment in an oasis and enjoy what you can control, how you look.
For starters this is your time. If you know you’re going to have people waiting for you make sure you give yourself enough time to at least get this order of business done. 1. Take a BATH. Not just because you want to be clean which a definite reason to take one is of course, but not only is it relaxing its soothing. And even if you’re not going to a movie or going out for taking a bath instead of the usual shower every day can be great “me” time for you. Put on some music, add some candles and you have a lit up sanctuary. After this we can worry about hair styles and most importantly what clothes you are going to wear.
Most nights going out to a movie you’ll experience cool even weather not so humid especially on the west coast like in California. And in these areas there are a few fabrics that you can choose from. Like cotton and polyester and silk. Now all these fabrics can be found at cheap prices and at different places. Whether its late night partying with friends or catching a movie with accessories and a nice clean look there are plenty of different ways to dress up for the night. After soaking in nice long bath you can go stick with the usual which never gets old. Jeans and a t-shirt.
Jeans and shirt is classy and can never get old for two reasons. One it gets reinvented just about yearly with a nice silk blouse or a plain shirt with hand painted scarf you can update the look. Match off the jeans with a long dangling heart necklace that can be found at Forever 21 a very popular store or even cute gemmed accessories at target or another department store. This look would also look great with sleek buckled cow girl boots. For a more dressy and casual look for the cool and even weather you can go for a nice sweater dress. Colors for sweater dresses like heather grey and beige are likely and ideal but there are several other colors to go with as well like royal purple, navy blue and fall is the greatest time to purchase these especially in the fall. So be happy to enjoy how you look and your film.
