Birthdays and anniversaries are just two of those occasions when we sometimes like to go overboard and buy our loved ones something really, really exclusive to show them how much we care. Typically, we might spend days, weeks or even months trying to pick out that perfect something that we just know that special lady will adore, whether it be an expensive piece of jewelry or a precious figurine made of porcelain.
Another occasion when some men really want to make the moment absolutely perfect and get everything just right is when making a proposal of marriage. While there are, of course, those who are quite happy to simply hand over that telltale little box, others go to great lengths to put together elaborate plans to surprise their intended with a carefully chosen diamond ring.
Whatever the occasion though, having gone to all of the time, trouble and expense of buying that perfect gift, the giver is then presented with a very limited and often unoriginal number of options in terms of how to present and wrap it. Whilst the box that the item came in might be perfectly serviceable, often these could do more in terms of offering the ideal setting for the gift and in terms of providing the real wow factor.
One great solution for presenting those really special gifts, and especially jewelry or breakable items, is to use a fabulous, luxury women’s scarf to line a specially-chosen presentation box. Pick out a really pretty presentation box of the appropriate dimensions which features colors and designs that you know the recipient will love. Then, choose a gorgeous hand painted silk scarf, again to suit the lady’s style, taste and coloring, and arrange it inside the box as a sort of pad on which to rest your gift. Not only will the silk scarf make your present look so much more impressive, but your loved one will have an additional gift that she can wear time and time again. The scarf will also act as a reminder of her special occasion each time she uses it and so you will never be far from her thoughts.
For men who want to surprise their beloved with an engagement ring, this idea can be particularly effective because of course the over-sized box which is handed over will not give the game away. If the size of the ring and of the scarf both allow, you could even thread the fine silk fabric through the ring itself before placing it in the presentation box, and that way there will be no danger that the precious diamond is not spotted immediately.
When you spend a lot of money on something really special, it seems a pity for the packaging not to live up to its contents. With a stunning hand painted silk scarf as its setting though, your gift will make just the impression that you had hoped for.
