Whether for fear that they will look loud and garish, because they think that they will not suit, or simply because it feels like the more practical option, many women have a tendency to avoid patterned designs on their clothing altogether. The result, therefore, is millions of closets across the country filled with dresses, skirts, pants and tops which all look rather bland and uninspiring. This penchant for plain even extends to their accessories, with shoes, purses and even women’s silk scarves and shawls all featuring solid blocks of single colors.
Looking at the old lumber jack with the red shirt and the personified axe, we think of only grizzly looking man with a huge figure and face that says a thousand words. The man can seem nice or he can look mean as a bear fitting his description but another thing that we teens once could not get over was the lumber jack look.
It’s finally here and some of us dread it and while some of us invite it. This is the time we can meet up with lots a family and friends and enjoy our time because it’s that time of the year or we can’t simply wait to sit around that cozy fire and relax with a hot cup of cocoa. But another thing that a lot of us have been dying to see or hear about is falls fashion or what should be worn. But a lot of us don’t have the money to go out and update our wardrobe too much. There are ways to update you summer look without too much trouble with the finding the money to come up with a new wardrobe.
When we begin to scrap book and look for different fabric types to add we think of all the pretty colors and the patterns more so the texture. We like the feel of certain things and we dislike the feel of other things. But with silk we can’t deny the soft, sensual, yet comfortable and luxurious feel. Silk is a fabric with a texture that can be added to anything whether it’s your clothing o if it is your curtains or even your favorite pillow. So why not use it within your scrap books.
Silk shawls are worn by numerous of celebrities and numerous of people and they’re used for numerous purposes. You can’t always think that a silk shawl is used for a basic wrap to keep you warm the nights you’re sitting outside enjoying some fresh air. You want your silk shawl to be useful and not be shoved toward the back of the closet where you are compelled to wear it only when you think its collecting dust or for those nights. Silk shawls are delicate fabrics and should be used with great care but that doesn’t mean that they’re used for only special occasions. Silk shawls can be worn while you are at work, while you’re school, on vacation or even daily with assorted outfits.
